Brand extension

Redbird was asked to develop a stand alone icon/logo that aslo would sit comfortably with the existing wordmark so that the company could add a recognisable device to their eyewear range in order to compete with other stable brands like Ray Ban.

We developed the ‘double A’ that also reflects a star shape to incorporate the American side of the brand name.

The end result was a piece of genius. As the old saying
goes “it does exactly what it says on the tin”. In a very
competitive market space we feel we have the identity
that says Anglo American in a simple, yet very
sophisticated logo device.
